Walk About Water is hosting a walk from Little York Lake on Saturday, April 28th. We will walking 7 miles to St Margret’s Church. This is in support of a fracking moratorium in the Village of Homer and to bring attention to an education meeting being held at the church that night at 7. If you or anyone you know might be interested in supporting us in this effort anyone who cares about clean water, soil and air is invited to join in walking with us all or any part of the way to show support. There will be an opening ceremony at noon on the 28th in the park down by the fishing dock across the foot bridge.
